I recently announced the publication of two new photo books. The first was a journal of my visits to some of the nation’s iconic fortresses. It is entitled FORTRESS: A Photographic Odyssey.
The book details my time spent in these venerable old bastions. The story is told largely by my collection of images captured during my visit, together with historical photos, drawings and maps, and textual treatises on each individual fortress.
I’ve just completed the upload of all my own images from FORTRESS. There are 138 of these images, spanning eleven forts, plus images of Endicott-era emplacements.

The Thompson Family Album is now available in a lower-cost print format, as well as the previously available deluxe hard-cover, and we’re working on an eBook edition there, too.
